These include: Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award-winning artist, vocalist and producer Ray Charles, Oscar-nominated orchestrator, Motown arranger and producer Gil Askey (known as “one of the architects of the legendary Motown sound” – Berry Gordy often called Askey “The glue that kept everything together”), Grammy Award-winning artist, vocalist, producer and record executive Chris Christian.

Mark has applied the knowledge gained from these experiences to his own musical endeavors, such as producing projects for American Idol contestants Kristi Lee Cook and Celena Rae, and in recording sessions, television productions and various live performances in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He has been leading his own band, the DFW MusicMakers, since 2016.
